Impact Hub and Atelier Muse hosted Hasmik Movsisian, the founder of Music of Armenia and Özcan Gül, Istanbul based Duduk player, at Impact Hub on Wednesday, April 19. This performative talk enabled participants to explore more on how art and music can create a bridge between generations, countries and people of different backgrounds for peace and unity.

Having recently moved from London to Yerevan, Hasmik is shaping and developing the music industry in Armenia by introducing innovative ap proaches to traditional music and conservative methods. With a strong management and marketing background in the music industry on an international level, Hasmik is committed to putting Armenia on the map as one of the world’s music capitals.
Özcan graduated from ITU Conservatory of Turkish Music in 2003. After meeting Suren Asaduryan in 2001, Özcan discovered a deep interest in Duduk, which he continues to explore in his music and performances.
